Bank building comes down
National Bank building on the northeast corner of Washington Avenue and Front Street in Detroit Lakes. Except for a period of six months during the mid 1920s, this bank was an important fixture in downtown Detroit Lakes until it closed in late November of 1991, when its banking business was moved to 211 West Holmes Street.
