Former Mahnomen resident Duane Seeger, 87, of Wahpeton, N.D., died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Breckenridge, Minn. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Twin Valley. Visitation was held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, with a 3 p.m. prayer service, at Anderson-Mattson Funeral Home, Mahnomen. Interment was at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Mahnomen.

A mass of Christian burial is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 in St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, White Earth. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, followed by a 7 p.m. prayer service. Douglas “Doug” Wayne Faus began his journey in life in Detroit Lakes on November 14, 1927 and passed away quietly at his daughter’s home in Moorhead on Sunday morning, January 29, 2012 at the age of 84 with his family by his side. A memorial service is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, with a memorial gathering from 9:30 until the start of services.

A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Viola R. Hanson, 72, of Rollag, died Friday, Januaryt 20, 2012 at Sunnyside Care Center, Lake Park. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Rollag Lutheran Church, with visitation for one hour prior to services. Burial was in the church cemetery.
