Hedstrom hits 8 three-pointers, but not enough in loss to TRF

It was a record-setting game for senior point guard Courtney Hedstrom, who sunk eight three-pointers in the Detroit Lakes girls’ team’s road game in Thief River Falls Thursday. Despite Hedstrom’s 24 points and most threes by a Laker ever, DL lost to the Prowlers 65-58, who held a sizable edge in free throws, after going 18-22 from the stripe.
