Holland lands Pine to Palm championship 
DETROIT LAKES - The diversity of the Pine to Palm Golf Tournament was on display Sunday at the Detroit Country Club, as 17-year-old Connor Holland of West Fargo claimed the 79th championship. Holland becomes just the third 17-year-old to win the Pine to Palm title, which is the youngest age to pull off the feat.

Final 4 is set for Super’s 
A pair of former Rutledge Award winners faced off in the Pine to Palm Super Senior quarterfinals Friday, as the medalist kept moving right along. The Super Seniors’ final four is now set, as the field of eight was trimmed in half.
Rubis survives to defend title 
For 42 years, Tim Rubis and Dan Elton have been friends. Friday, the two golfing buddies had to go head-to-head in the Pine to Palm Seniors quarterfinals, as the defending champion Rubis outlasted Elton 2 and 1.
2011 Ironman Classic Results 
Hunter Clark defeated Blake Kahlbaugh 1 up to win the 13 to 18 year old Boys Division. Medalist Nathaniel Kahlbaugh won the consolation match.
