Jean A. Johnson, 76, of Detroit Lakes, died Monday, June 13, 2011 following a long illness, at Emmanuel Nursing Home in Detroit Lakes, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services for Jean will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 17 at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes, with visitation for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at Egelund Cemetery, rural Detroit Lakes.

An unfortunate roll of an ankle knocked the Detroit Lakes girls’ cross country team back about five slots in the Milaca Mega-Meet Saturday.
