As the Food and Drug Administration agreed to look at new safety standards for arsenic, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar pushed the agency to quickly consider an arsenic standard for fruit juice after a report revealed that 10 percent of fruit juices sampled in a study contained arsenic levels higher than what is considered safe in federal drinking water standards.
