Bjerke 70th
Ihlor and LaVern (Gunderson) Bjerke were married Oct. 22, 1939 in Flom. They spent most of their life in Ulen, then moved to Strawberry Lake, Talent, Oregon, and finally Detroit Lakes. This year they had a quiet celebration on that day with staff and residents at Emmanuel Nursing Home where they now live.

There will be an open house and dance on Friday in honor of Doug and Rudella Wermager’s 50th wedding anniversary at the American Legion in Lake Park from 8 p.m to midnight. Music by Lewi Ronken, beer and set-ups, cake and coffee.
