Golden Gloves season to start soon 
The Lakes Area Boxing club is resuming its Golden Gloves Boxing program starting Nov. 15, and running through March 31.
Sessions will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6-8 p.m., for ages 10-34 years.

PELICAN RAPIDS FOOTBALL: EGF outlasts Vikings’ rally 
A couple of comebacks fell short for the Pelican Rapids Vikings, as the visiting East Grand Forks Green Wave left town with a 34-21 victory Friday.
After falling behind 14-0, the Vikings started to coming to life late in the first half with a great scoring drive.
