Hornet track trio ready to lace up for state meet
Experience was a premium this season for the Frazee boys’ and girls’ track and field teams, but that didn’t hold the Hornets back from sending three to the Class 1A state meet.

Three Hornets heading to state
There will be a trio of Frazee Hornets competing in the Class 1A state track and field meet Friday and Saturday at Hamline University.
Junior Forrest Jackson was able to overcome a heel injury and a sub-par 100-meter dash to finish second in the 200 dash with a time of 23.38, behind Morris’ Lincoln Arnold’s 23.25.

The Hornet baseball team needed to go undefeated in the Heart O’Lakes Conference to claim its first-ever HOL crown.

Frazee sports teams honor supporters
This year the Frazee coaches and advisors decided to recognize community supporters for supporting their individual programs and gave them a wind-shirt along with an invitation to attend Frazee Hornet activities.
When the recipient wore the wind-shirt to a home event it was their free admission to the activity for this year as well as next.

Hanson dominates Frazee meet
Class 1A’s No. 1 ranked golfer, Frazee sophomore Beau Hanson shot a blistering nine hole score of 31 on Tuesday to lead the Hornet golf team to a second place finish at the Frazee Heart O’Lakes conference tournament at Frazee Golf Course.

The Frazee Hornet baseball team displayed excellent fielding during 17 innings of play last Thursday evening, topping Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton by the scores of 2-1 in 12 innings and 6-3 in five, for the sweep.

Hornets earn conference split
The Frazee softball team traveled to Glyndon Thursday to face the D-G-F Lady Rebels, where they came up with an HOL split.
The Lady Hornets won the first game by the score of 3-2 and lost the nightcap by the score of 12-6.
