GIRLS BASKETBALL: LP-A pulls out thriller 
It was as close to a 2-0 start as the Frazee girls’ basketball team could get, but it still wasn’t close enough.
The Lady Hornets dropped a 63-62 heartbreaker Thursday against the visiting Lake Park-Audubon Raiders, as the visitors came out on fire to build a 16-point first half lead at 29-13, and the Raiders went 2-0 on the season.

LP-A Schools’ parent-teacher conferences set 
Parent-teacher conferences at Lake Park-Audubon Schools are set for Thursday, Nov. 10 and Tuesday, Nov. 15.
First-quarter report cards will be available for parents to pick up during the conference sessions, along with MCA and GRAD test results.
Students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. on each of the conference days.
