Naipoli is Jack Fay's “foster” elephant, who at the time of this photo was in the nursery of the Sheldrick Trust.  She was not yet two years old.  She has grown quickly and is no longer in the nursery—the goal of Sheldrick is to carefully but eventually reintegrate the orphans in to the wild with other orphans.
