Ogema woman takes promotion

Lois Ballard of Ogema was elevated to President of the Auxiliary for the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies (MAFMIC) at the recent 115th annual convention held in Bloomington.

Lois has served on the State Association's Auxiliary for the past two years. She also serves on the Educational Scholarship Committee. Lois' husband, Mitch, is a member of the Board of Directors for Lake Park & Cuba Insurance.

Those attending the convention consisted of officers and directors of the 97 township and statewide mutual insurance companies. The convention was attended by 462 people representing 80 member and associate member companies.

The Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies, Inc. (MAFMIC) was organized in 1895 to provide services to assist in the effective utilization of insurance resources and promote a financially sound, competitive farm mutual insurance industry for the ultimate benefit of the consuming public.
