A square dance is in the Century School in Park Rapids. Larry Johansen will be the caller, and Donna Stone will cue rounds between tips. There will be a “plus” workshop from 7-8 p.m. and mainstream dancing from 8 to 10. There will be a potluck lunch after the dance furnished by the club members. All square dancers and spectators are welcome.

Garden Club field trip

Learn to fish for free
The DNR hosts MinnAqua’s Peers to Piers program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday on the Little Detroit Lake pier across from El Loro restaurant. The DNR provides all fishing equipment and bait for kids wanting to learn to fish. Kids fish for free up to age 16 with no license required. The Laurentian Lakes Chapter of the North Country Trail hosts a wildflower and Lady Slipper hike at 9 a.m. from Camp 6 Forest trail to Elbow Lake Rd. Meet at the trailhead on Elbow Lake Road which is located 1.5 miles west of Becker Co. 37 (Watch for the Many Point Boy Scout Camp Signs) and we’ll shuttle to the start of the hike.
