Fargo to host first ever bacon and beer festival in March

Beer and bacon lovers will have an opportunity to be in hog heaven this spring.

The inaugural “Fargo Bacon & Beer Festival” is set for March 8 at 5 p.m. in the Scheels Arena.

Sponsored by Bernie’s Wine and Liquors, the event will feature more than 100 beers from a roster of breweries and bacon from area restaurants.

Early bird tickets for the event are $25 until they sell out, when the price increases to $30.

General admission tickets include live entertainment, commemorative beer glass, unlimited beer samples and six bacon samples.

Brew-and-bacon fanatics can upgrade to VIP for $75, which includes early entry, a private lounge, unlimited bacon samples as well as exclusive merchandise.
