Man charged after two shot and wounded in Naytahwaush
A Naytahwaush man has been charged in a shooting incident Tuesday evening in Naytahwaush.
Andrew Boswell, 22, has been charged with felony second-degree assault in the case, according to the Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office.
He appeared in Mahnomen County District court Friday, where cash bail was set at $10,000 or bond at $100,000. His next appearance is Tuesday.
At about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Mahnomen County deputies responded to a report of a shooting in Naytahwaush. At the scene they found two people with gunshot wounds—a 21-year-old Minneapolis man and a 23-year-old Naytahwaush woman. Both were taken to the Mahnomen Health Center, where they were stabilized and later airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, where they were listed in stable condition on Friday.
