Thursday, Sept. 21

At 11:56 a.m. a caller reported someone had broken into a cabin on the 36000 block of 295th Avenue in Ogema.

At 2:05 p.m. a purse was reportedly stolen from a cart on the 600 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.

At 6:04 p.m. a mailbox was reportedly damaged on the 1500 block of Long Lake Drive.

At 2:12 p.m. a caller reported two juveniles had broken into a house on the 36000 block of Highway 21 in Ogema while the homeowner was there. The homeowner told the kids to leave, and they did. Nothing was reported missing.

At 11:44 p.m. a caller reported a sticky note, the continuance of a neighbor bickering match, left on a car on the 1000 block of First Street in Lake Park.

Friday, Sept. 22

At 12:55 a.m. a package was delivered to a residence on the 200 block of Barbara Avenue in Detroit Lakes, and the receiving party reported the box had been opened.

At 8:32 a.m. a chemistry book was reportedly stolen from a locker at the Lake Park-Audubon school.

At 10:04 a.m. a boat was reportedly stolen from a residence on the 39000 block of Highway 34. The boat had been stored at the edge of the woods on the property for 18 years, and the owner never had an issue with it being stolen until Friday.

At 11:20 a.m. a loader was reportedly vandalized on the 30000 block of Highway 10 in Frazee.

At 2:50 p.m. a caller reported a party burning leaves, an act that is against the city ordinance, on the 1300 block of South Shore Drive.

Saturday, Sept. 23

At 8:23 a.m. a gun, a generator, a blower, and tools were reportedly stolen from the 24000 block of Walden Road in Rochert.

At 10:54 a.m. a garage on the 1000 block of Villa Lane Drive was reportedly vandalized with spray paint.

At 3:23 p.m. a wallet and phone were reportedly stolen from a house on the 800 block of Soo Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

Sunday, Sept. 24

At 8:28 p.m. a white Pontiac Grand Am was reportedly stolen from the 28000 block of Waboose Drive in Ponsford.

Monday, Sept. 25

At 8:08 a.m. a caller reported a break in at Mark's Electric.

Tuesday, Sept. 26

At 11:20 a.m. a theft was reported on the 1100 block of Garnet Boulevard in Detroit Lakes.

At 1:22 p.m. an air compressor was reportedly stolen from a building on the 2300 block of St. Claire Circle in Detroit Lakes.

At 10:14 p.m. a handgun and crossbow were reportedly stolen from a residence on the 35000 block of County Road 109 in Ogema.

Wednesday, Sept. 27

At 10:56 a.m. a caller reported slime a the wall of school on 500th Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The school ultimately took care of the issue by warning the students of the consequences of vandalism.

At 12:49 p.m. a caller reported someone had thrown eggs at a property on the 25000 block of Hillcrest Road in Detroit Lakes.

Thursday, Sept. 28

At 10:42 a.m. a caller reported a break in that occurred a week prior on the 53000 block of Highway 44 in Park Rapids. An antique picture frame had been taken from the interior of the residence and wood was lifted from the exterior of the home.

At 10:54 a.m. a caller reported a theft from a residence on Otto Zeck Road in Detroit Lakes.

At 11:04 a.m. a caller reported a neighbor had thrown wood at a trailer parked on the 25000 block of Hillcrest Road in Detroit Lakes, the continuance of an ongoing bickering match. This time, the caller said there was proof of the incident on a surveillance camera.

At 3:57 p.m. tools were reportedly stolen from a garage on the 1000 block of Villa Lane in Detroit Lakes.

At 11:13 p.m. a caller reported the theft of a purse containing an ID, blood pressure meds and anxiety meds, from the 25000 block of 353rd Circle in Ogema.

At 11:45 p.m. hunting knives were reportedly stolen from the 36000 block of Highway 21 in Ogema.

Friday, Sept. 29

At 11:34 a.m. a caller reported items stolen from a job site on Randolph Road in Detroit Lakes.

At 4:01 p.m. lottery tickets were reportedly stolen from the 1100 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.

Saturday, Sept. 30

At 9:09 a.m. a caller stated hunters had done damage to a house on the 24000 block of Mill Pond Drive in Detroit Lakes.

At 12:31 p.m. approximately 30 chickens were reportedly stolen from the 12000 block of 270th Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The caller stated the theft had occurred sometime within the last month.

At 1:48 p.m. a caller reported a wallet had been stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1200 block of Lake Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The thief reportedly stole the cash from the wallet and then dumped the wallet in the yard.

At 10:08 p.m. a gun was reportedly stolen from a house on the 1300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

At 10:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to a truck on fire on the corner of 180th Street and Highway 39 in Frazee. The responding fire departments were reportedly on scene for about 5.5 hours.
