Park Rapids woman charged with meth
Tammara Cherise Eischens, 30, of Park Rapids has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime and misdemeanor DWI.
According to court records, on May 9 a tribal police officer pulled her over for not slowing down on Becker County Road 35 when he was conducting a traffic stop. Her car allegedly smelled strongly of marijuana and after she was arrested and transported to jail, four plastic tubes of meth, 1.29 grams total, were found in the back of the squad car where she had been sitting.
Eischens appeared in court May 11 before District Judge Mark Hansen, who set cash bail at $300 or bond at $3,000, with standard conditions of release, or bond at $6,000 with no conditions of release.
