At 1:50 p.m. a caller reported checks stolen from the 36000 block of 313th Avenue in Ogema.

At 2:22 p.m. a bike was reportedly stolen from the 1200 block of Eighth Street South East in Detroit Lakes, though it was later recovered.

At 3:16 p.m. money was reportedly stolen from a purse on the 400 block of North Street in Detroit Lakes.

At 5:55 p.m. a purse was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of West Main Avenue in Frazee.

Monday, August 27

At 3:27 a.m. a caller reported hearing three gunshots at their neighbor's residence on the 36000 block of Loon Drive in Ogema. Responding officers found no evidence of foul play.

At 8:47 a.m. a mailbox was reportedly vandalized on the 56000 block of Frazier Street in Lake Park.

At 9:39 a.m. a man reportedly stole cigarettes from the Richwood Store on County Highway 21 in Detroit Lakes.

At 9:47 a.m. a barbie doll collection was reportedly stolen from a storage unit on the 29000 block of Highway 10 in Detroit Lakes.

At 12:34 p.m. copper and aluminum were reportedly stolen from a yard on the 500 block of Summit Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 1:30 p.m. Lake Region Electric reported someone stealing services on the 10000 block of Lake Ida Lane in Park Rapids.

At 2:29 p.m. a duffle bag and purse were reportedly stolen from a motor vehicle parked on the 900 block of Lake Avenue.

At 5:28 p.m. a tablet was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the 39000 block of Church Lane in Waubun.

Tuesday, August 28

At 8:05 a.m. a caller reported that weeks ago a cooler had been taken from a deck on the 700 block of South Shore Drive.

At 10:17 a.m. employees at the Wolf Lake Liquor store reported bottles had been stolen from the establishment back on August 4, and they had caught the culprits on camera.

At 12:51 p.m. a TV and DVD player were reportedly stolen from a residence on the 26000 block of Rattlesnake Circle in Waubun.

At 2:57 p.m. a bag of tools was reportedly stolen from the 500 block of West Front Street in Detroit Lakes.

At 3:35 p.m. a caller reported checks had been stolen from a residence on the 1200 block of Madison Avenue in Detroit Lakes, and the checks were now being forged to take money from the corresponding bank account.

At 10:59 p.m. a caller reported hearing a gunshot near the corner of County Highway 49 and 110th Street in Menahga.

At 11:03 p.m. playground equipment at Riverside Park in Frazee was reportedly vandalized.

Wednesday, August 29

At 9:23 a.m. a purse and lunch box were reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on the 200 block of Elm Street in Detroit Lakes.

At 10:38 a.m. a pontoon was reportedly stolen from J & K Marine.

At 10:47 a.m. a caller reported something burning on a stove and creating a lot of smoke in a house on the 800 block of East Central Street in Detroit Lakes.

At 11:14 a.m. emergency crews responded to a horse barn fire on the 36000 block of Highway 87 in Frazee. They were on the scene fighting the flames for about two hours.

At 11:56 a.m. a phone charger was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage on the 300 block of Elm Street in Detroit Lakes.

At 1:33 p.m. iron was reportedly stolen from the 500 block of Summit Avenue

At 4:04 p.m. a caller reported a shed had been broken into on the 39000 block of Public Access Road in Waubun, but the caller couldn't tell if anything had been stolen from the building.

At 11:06 p.m. a caller reported checks had been stolen from the 38000 block of County Highway 34 in Ogema and the thief was attempting to cash the stolen slips.

Thursday, August 30

At 8:49 a.m. a caller reported vandalism at J & K Marine.

At 12:33 p.m. a ring was reportedly stolen from the 36000 block of Loon Drive in Ogema.

At 4:43 p.m. emergency crews responded to an appliance on fire in a rock pit.

At 6:47 p.m. a caller reported his home on the 2300 block of Native Look in Ponsford had been burglarized. A safe, containing the caller's high school diploma, high school yearbooks and $700 was reportedly stolen as well as a television.

At 7:11 p.m. a caller reported that a window at Roosevelt Elementary school had been vandalized.

Friday, August 31

At 10:50 a.m. emergency crews responded to a fire on the 22000 block of County Highway 25 in Detroit Lakes.

At 2:21 p.m. a caller reported the theft of checks from the 35000 block of Eagle View Road in Ogema.

At 8:17 p.m. a caller reported smelling an electrical fire coming from a camper on the 12000 block of County Highway 5 in Lake Park.

Saturday, Sept. 1

At 10:41 a.m. a house on the 20000 block of Toad Mountain Road in Osage was reportedly broken into.

At 11:40 a.m. a pressure washer was reportedly stolen from the 15000 block of Blackhawk Road in Lake Park.

At 12:46 p.m. a deer stand was reportedly stolen from the corner of County Road 129 and County Highway 44.

At 4:47 p.m. a caller reported gas has been siphoned from a truck parked on the 32000 block of County Road 143 in Ogema.

At 5:59 p.m. miscellaneous items were reportedly stolen from a house on the 36000 block of County Highway 21 in Ogema.

At 6:52 p.m. the Frazee Fire Department responded to a home that was fully engulfed in flames on the 19000 block of 400th Avenue in Frazee. The fire department and assisting crews were on the scene for almost seven hours fighting the flames.

At 7:46 p.m. mail was reportedly stolen from an apartment hallway on the 1200 block of Loring Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

At 9:29 p.m. a house on the 46000 block of Native Lane in Ponsford was reportedly broken into, and a TV was reportedly missing from the residence.

Sunday, Sept. 2

At 1:45 a.m. a TV and other electronics were reportedly stolen from a house on the 46000 block of Nokomis Drive in Ponsford.

At 3:25 a.m. a caller reported that the windows of a Jeep had been smashed, while it was parked on the 24000 block of East Munson Drive in Detroit Lakes.

At 8:48 a.m. a boat was reportedly stolen from the shore of Fish Lake in Detroit Lakes.

At 10:48 a.m. a caller reported finding car parts all over a yard on the 25000 block of 353 Circle in Ogema.

At 1:12 p.m. a vehicle parked on the 500 block of First Street in Audubon was reportedly rifled through and wedding rings were missing from it.

At 3:43 p.m. a theft was reported on the 32000 block of Mary Yellowhead Road in Ogema.

At 10:41 p.m. a caller reported hearing six shots fired near the 20000 block of Highway 21 in Ogema, but responding officers couldn't locate the origin of the noise.

Monday, Sept. 3

At 11:03 a.m. a bike was reportedly stolen from the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

At 12:45 a.m. a caller reported about $300 had been stolen from a residence on the 36000 block of Loon Drive in Ogema.

At 6:30 a.m. a debit and EBT card were reportedly stolen from a residence on the 36000 block of Loon Drive in Ogema.

At 6:40 a.m. a caller reported a hunter shooting towards a house on the 22000 block of County Road 123 in Osage.
