Obama campaign announces RV stop Tuesday in Moorhead

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign is hitting the road in Minnesota this week with RV stops in 24 communities, including a visit to Moorhead Tuesday.

Minnesota state Sen. Keith Langseth, D-Glyndon, and Mark Olaf Altenburg, Democratic candidate for the District 9A state House seat, will speak during a program starting at 12:15 p.m. at the Hjemkomst Center, 202 1st Ave. N., Moorhead.

The topic will be ensuring economic opportunity for family farmers.

Obama's Heartland for Change tour aims at giving voters the chance to express their concerns and to hear the candidate's ideas.

Other stops planned Tuesday for Obama's RV include one at 3 p.m. at Whitey's Café in East Grand Forks, Minn., and a 5 p.m. stop at the University of Minnesota-Morris campus in Crookston, Minn.
