Handyside paces Indians to 30-0 blanking of CL-Bena

The Waubun football team has a new all-time leading rusher in Tyler Voss, after the Bombers rolled over Win-E-Mac 44-6 Friday to go 2-0 on the season.

Waubun senior quarterback Dustin Spaeth did some damage through the air, going 7-8 for 141 yards and four touchdowns, with Stephen Stone and Voss catching two TD's apiece.

Voss also led the ground attack, to become Waubun's all-time leading rusher.

Defensively, the Bombers were just as dominant, as senior linebacker Floyd DeGroat had 15 tackles, an interception and a key returned block punt for a 45-yard score.

Aaron Haugo and Curtis Rogers each had two sacks, while the Waubun defense was in the Pats' backfield all night, collecting seven sacks and allowing just 120 yards of total offense.

Waubun will host Ulen-Hitterdal for the Bombers' Homecoming game Friday, beginning at 7 p.m.
