EGF woman charged with attempted murder arrested at Fargo airport
FARGO - An East Grand Forks, Minn., woman accused of trying to kill her two children was arrested Friday at Hector International Airport.
Authorities tipped off police that Breezetta Etienne may be headed toward the airport and police were waiting for her, Fargo police Sgt. Jeff Skuza said.
Polk County, Minn., authorities had issued a warrant for Etienne, 31, on Sept. 5 for violating conditions of her release. She violated a restraining order prohibiting her from having contact with her estranged husband, who now has custody of the two children, East Grand Forks police Detective Rodney Hajicek said.
Etienne, who was headed toward Las Vegas, is the sister of convicted murderer Moe Gibbs.
She has pleaded not guilty to two counts of attempted murder and is charged with trying to poison her two daughters with vehicle exhaust.
