DL woman accused of planning to manufacture drugs
Tammy Ann Bakke, 42, of 313 Woodcrest Blvd., Detroit Lakes has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony first-degree controlled substance crime -- conspiracy, and felony possession of substances with intent to manufacture drugs.
On Oct. 2, police officers assisting with a probation search of the residence she shares with James Edward Carr allegedly found a clear plastic baggie containing 180 unpackaged pseudo ephedrine tablets, purchased from Kmart and Wal-Mart in Detroit Lakes on six occasions over a several month period. The tablets are commonly used to make meth.
On Oct. 20 District Judge Peter Irvine issued a warrant for her arrest.
