Fargo police arrest 2 in taxi driver armed robbery

Fargo police arrested two people Saturday night in connection with the armed robbery of a taxi driver.

According to police:

The taxi driver reported the incident about 9:45 p.m. Saturday.

He told police that while transporting two males to a location in south Fargo one of them pulled out a knife and demanded money.

The driver handed over an undisclosed sum and the two males ran off in the area of 11th Avenue and Ninth Street South.

Soon after, police located and arrested one adult and one juvenile who matched the taxi driver's description of the suspects.

Police identified the adult as Jeremiah James Thompson, 18, of Fargo.

The cab driver was not injured in the incident, according to police.
