Interstate 94 to be closed between Dickinson and Mandan
BISMARCK - The North Dakota Department of Transportation is closing both directions of Interstate 94 between Dickinson and Mandan this evening because of wintry weather conditions.
East- and westbound stretches of I-94 are closing at 6:30 p.m. CST and will remain closed as blowing and drifting snow continues to move through the region, the department said.
Snowplows will resume operations early Wednesday morning, depending on weather conditions, said DOT spokeswoman Billie Jo Lorius.
A no-travel advisory remains in effect for western and central North Dakota and a travel alert is in place for the eastern part of the state.
