Richland County trying to revoke Dilworth man's probation
WAHPETON, N.D. - Authorities here are seeking to revoke the probation of a 26-year-old man previously convicted of attempted murder in 2002 in a case involving a shooting.
Matthew Steven Krebs is accused of violating conditions of his supervised probation for the conviction by drinking, entering a bar, committing a new offense and going to Colorado without permission, court documents state.
Krebs, Dilworth, was arrested March 7 on suspicion of criminal damage to property and is currently being held in the Clay County Jail. He has waived extradition to Richland County, N.D.
After pleading guilty to the 2002 shooting incident, Krebs was sentenced to 10 years, first to serve five with the remaining time suspended for five years of supervised probation.
