EAST GRAND FORKS - A stand-off has ended at 11 Garden Court N.W. in East Grand Forks, just off Fourth Ave. N.W.

East Grand Forks police, Minnesota State troopers, officers from the Polk County Sheriff and a SWAT team from Grand Forks were on the scene Thursday afternoon.

A SWAT team entered and arrested an individual at about 5:15 p.m., according to EGF Police Chief Michael Hedlund.

The home's owner, Julie Gregorson, said a neighbor called her to say two suspicious teenagers went into her house at about 2:20 p.m. The neighbor called police. Officers entered the house and heard noises downstairs. They suspect one has fled the scene but the other remained in the basement where about 30 guns are kept by Gregorson's husband, who she said hunts and shoots competitively. Gregorson said normally the guns are locked up, but the basement flooded and they're trying to air things out.
