Grand Forks police nab other standoff suspect
GRAND FORKS - Police arrested a second suspect today in connection to Thursday's standoff at an East Grand Forks home.
Dillon Patrick Davis, 18, of East Grand Forks, was taken into custody in Grand Forks, said East Grand Forks detective Rod Hajichek.
Authorities say Davis was with Steven Scott Svir, the burglary suspect who was arrested Thursday to end the three-hour standoff, when Svir entered the home.
Polk County Attorney Greg Widseth said Svir, 18, of Arvilla, N.D., has been charged with second-degree burglary.
Davis would face the same charge, Widseth said. Grand Forks investigators were still questioning Davis this afternoon, Hajichek said.
Svir's bond was set Friday at $100,000. He remains in custody.
His next court date is set for Monday.
