One hospitalized after tractor-pickup collision near Hubbard

HUBBARD -  Authorities have identified the female driver of a farm tractor who was hospitalized after a collision with a pickup south of Hubbard Monday afternoon.

Connie R. Rogers, 57, of Menahga, was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital in Park Rapids with injuries, including a broken left leg and sprained right ankle, according to a news release from the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.

Dan Ruberto, 58, of Menahga, said he was westbound on County Road 109 when the tractor entered the gravel road from 209th and struck him in the driver's door.

"I swerved into the ditch, he said. "She fell off the tractor and I went to help her and the tractor pushed my truck down farther into the ditch."

Ruberto declined medical attention at the scene.

Sheriff's deputies and Hubbard First Response and North Ambulance responded to the accident, reported at 12:35 p.m.

The accident remains under investigation..
