Pancake breakfast

The Wolf Lake Chapter of the Minnesota Finnish American Historical Society pancake breakfast is from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wolf Lake Lions Hall. A free-will donation will help fund scholarships to Salolampi, the Finnish language camp at Concordia Language Villages. Everyone is welcome.

Potluck dinner

A potluck dinner is at noon in the Egelund Church, northeast of Detroit Lakes by Tamarac Refuge on County Road 26. A memorial service will be held for Curtis Leland and Faith Murray following the dinner. Everyone is welcome.

The White Earth Reservation Veteran's Association sponsors bingo every other Tuesday in the Veteran's Memorial Building. Cost is $20 at the door and proceeds go to the Veteran's Association to assist in funding community events. Warm ups start at 6:30 p.m. and regular session at 7.

Lakeview Ladies golf

The Lakeview Ladies League tees off every Tuesday at 5:40 p.m. Call the club house on Tuesday to be included in a foursome at 847-8942. E-mail for more info.

Making greeting cards

A new group for making greeting cards meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the DL Senior Citizen Center. For more info, call 847-5823.

Bone Builders

Barb Olson or Jean Sperry speak Tuesdays and Fridays on osteoporosis exercise programs from 11 a.m. to noon in the DL Senior Citizen Center. For more info, call 847-5823.

Women's Bridge

Rossman teachers retiring

A celebration for retiring Rossman Elementary teachers Marcy Shoemaker and Leona Atkins is from 4:15 to 6 p.m. in Lakeside Tavern.
