Two from Crookston injured in motorcycle accident

GRAND FORKS - Two Crookston residents injured in a Sunday motorcycle accident were treated and released from Altru Hospital, a nursing supervisor said.

Ronald Kaiser, 48, and passenger Rosa Martinez, 43, were heading north on the 2200 block of South Washington Street when their motorcycle leaked oil and apparently lost control on the spill before tipping over near the inside median.

Officers responded at 5:25 p.m., and Kaiser and Martinez were transported to Altru by ambulance. The accident is still under investigation.
