The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and Detroit Lakes Police Department:

Friday, June 12

• At 2:05 p.m. several people called, including one from St. Mary's Innovis hospital, about a deer wandering through town.

Saturday, June 13

• At 4:05 a.m. a person was reported lying on the ground at the intersection of Frazee Street and Summit Avenue in Detroit Lakes. The 31-year-old man was extremely intoxicated. An officer had him checked by EMS personnel and then the man walked home, a short distance away.

• At 10:53 a.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported the theft of a bow and arrows in a black case from the 16000 block of Highland Drive.

• At 11:02 an accident with injuries was reported at County Road 21 and North Tower Road.

• At 11:07 a.m. a White Earth woman reported an assault.

• At 12:16 p.m. a man on the 600 block of West Holmes Street reported his home had been hit with three bright orange paintballs.

• At 1 p.m. a break-in was reported at Silver Leaf Town Hall, with two stop signs taken.

• At 1:04 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported the side windows had been broken on a 1993 Acura Integra that was for sale and parked off Highway 10 near the depot.

He believes the vandalism was done by a man who was angry because he was not allowed to test-drive the car.

The responding police officer noticed that the license plates on the Acura were not issued for that vehicle, and issued the 20-year-old man a citation for illegal use of plates.

• At 10:31 p.m. a number of household electrical items that had been stolen from a residence a short while earlier were recovered in the Old Pit Road area. The owner was not yet aware they were missing.

Sunday, June 14

• At 3:42 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported a bike had been stolen from the 400 block of State St. East.

• At 4:42 p.m. police received a report of young people jumping off Long Bridge, causing problems for boaters going underneath the bridge. They were gone when an officer responded, but he noticed "no diving" signs were missing.

• At 5:30 p.m. an Ogema man reported his 19-year-old daughter had been injured in an accident and suffered a possible broken shoulder or arm. A White Earth Ambulance crew was on the scene for over an hour.

• At 5:38 p.m. a 42-year-old man and two boys were found jumping off Long Bridge. They said they were unaware of the city ordinance against jumping off the bridge.

• At 6:42 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported a vehicle went through a crosswalk and nearly hit his family. He yelled "are you going to stop?" at the car and a passenger yelled back and swore at him.

The vehicle was identified by license plate and the driver, an 18-year-old man, was cited for inattentive driving and no proof of insurance.

• At 10:50 p.m. a purse was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at St. Mary's Innovis emergency room. It was found in a nearby trashcan, with a small amount of cash taken, along with cigarettes and four lighters.

Monday, June 15

• At 8:47 a.m. mailbox vandalism was reported on the 11000 block of County Road 41, Frazee.

• At 9:08 a.m. an accident with possible injuries was reported at Holmes Street and Summit Avenue.

The crash occurred when a 1999 Chevy Express cargo van owned by Laney's Mechanical went through a stop sign on Holmes Street and collided with a 1996 GMC owned by J&K Marine that was pulling a trailered boat.

The Laney's vehicle was driven by Skyler Lee Rolland, 20, of Perham, who told an officer that he was looking down at a piece of paper and went through the intersection without stopping or yielding.

The J&K vehicle was driven by Benjamin Charles Krieg, 22, of Frazee. He stated he saw the other vehicle coming and tried to stop but couldn't in time to avoid the crash.

Rolland suffered a bloody lip in the accident. He was cited for failure to yield to a motor vehicle.

• At 10:05 a.m. a Waubun woman reported she scared off someone trying to break into her house on the 39000 block of Church Lane, White Earth.

• At 5:37 p.m. a Perham woman reported she was punched by a female co-worker at Mickelson Farms, Frazee.

Tuesday, June 16

• At 1:35 p.m. the White Earth Health Center reported a man was there for treatment of injuries suffered in a rollover accident the night before.

• At 6:17 p.m. a Ponsford man reported the theft of a vehicle in Pine Point.
