The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:
Tuesday, June 16
At 10:25 p.m. an abandoned mobile home was reported burning across from the east projects in White Earth village, on the 33000 block of County Road 21.
At 11:20 p.m. a White Earth woman on the 35000 block of Beaver Trail reported broken car windows. She believes they may have been shot out.
Wednesday, June 17
At 3:52 a.m. a Naytahwaush man reported attempted car theft.
At 8:05 a.m. a Rochert man reported a possible stolen vehicle -- a man was driving the Buick Century with the steering column chipped.
At 3:04 p.m. a Ponsford man reported the theft of a skid steer root grapple from the 46000 block of 330th Street.
Thursday, June 18
At 12:51 p.m. a shattered window was reported at Roosevelt School.
At 2:02 p.m. a Waubun woman reported that someone had tried to kick in her door on the 39000 block of Village drive.
At 2:05 p.m. a Ponsford man discovered a vehicle in the woods that turned out to have been stolen from Mahnomen County.
At 2:37 p.m. a traffic light on Highway 10 West near Wal-Mart was damaged when it was clipped by a semi making a turn.
At 4:34 p.m. a "scruffy-looking" 55-year-old man who had urinated in his pants was arrested near the summer recreation program in Detroit Lakes and charged with being a public nuisance.
At 6:03 p.m. a woman reported a break-in at her father's cabin in the Two Inlets area, the 53000 block of County Road 44.
At 7:04 p.m. a White Earth man reported finding a gun near the powwow grounds.
At 10:38 p.m. a woman on the 1100 block of Wilson Avenue reported a power line down and on top of trees, sparking and setting leaves on fire. DL police assisted a public utilities crew at the scene.
Friday, June 19
At 12:51 a.m. a 31-year-old woman was removed from the Northside bar and cited for disorderly conduct.
Saturday, June 20
At 9:01 p.m. police received a report of baby geese tying up traffic as they tried to cross Highway 10 near the overlook. Two officers escorted the geese to the end of the wall and got them on their way to the lake.
At 2:04 p.m. a man called on behalf of his brother, who doesn't speak English, to report that a woman who lives in an apartment in downtown Detroit Lakes stole $350 from him.
At 6:34 p.m. a fire in the trees was reported three miles west of Highway 113 and County Road 35. Firefighters from Carsonville were on the scene for about 90 minutes.
At 9:07 p.m. a deputy spent 45 minutes responding to a complaint about a pontoon on Lake Ida with 7-10 young men partying and blasting air horns and harassing people trying to fish.
At 11:24 p.m. the emergency room at St. Joseph's hospital in Park Rapids reported a dirt bike accident near Osage had left Nicholas Nason, 20, with a dislocated shoulder.
Sunday, June 21
At 1:27 a.m. a Frazee man reported a stolen purse at a street dance in Callaway.
At 11:18 a.m. an Ogema man on the 32000 block of county Road 34 reported the theft of a 1999 Polaris ATV, taken sometime after midnight.
At 11:35 a.m. a Park Rapids man reported he was assaulted by a man at a graduation party in the Pine Point area.
At 12:30 p.m. a grass fire was reported near Highway 10 in Otter Tail County.
At 1:39 p.m. a Waubun man reported he had been assaulted by his stepsons in the North Round lake area.
At 9:06 p.m. an Audubon woman reported a window and door had been broken in Lake Eunice Township on County Road 15.
At 9:14 p.m. Frazee woman reported the theft of a video player and games from the 500 block of Balsom.
Monday, June 22
At 8:20 a.m. DL Disposal Service reported the theft of a new eight-yard dumpster from the old Elite Auto Body site.
At 12:39 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported the theft of a Toyota Corolla from the 25000 block of County Road 6.
At 3:17 p.m. a scam letter and check were reported on the 1300 block of Bay Ridge Drive.
At 6:19 p.m. an Ogema man reported the theft of a 15-foot Coleman canoe from the 39000 block of County Road 111, Waubun.
At 6:46 p.m. a Frazee woman reported the theft of a red Harley-Davidson bag from the city beach in Frazee.
Tuesday, June 23
At 8:11 a.m. a vehicle was found burning in Pine Point in the woods near the new school.
At 10:15 a.m. a Lake Park man reported a theft from a steel building in Lake Eunice Township. A number of items were taken, including a battery charger, a lawn broom, a string trimmer, a lawnmower and a Johnson boat motor.
At 10:43 a semi-pickup truck accident with injuries was reported at Highway 59 and North Tower Road.
At 11:40 a.m. a screen as cut and rocks thrown through a window at Randy's bar on the 21000 block of County Road 22.
