Last June, Jeff and Sherry Mattson from Dalton (formally of Mahnomen) and Lynn "Boo" Burmeister from Ottertail decided to raise some money for Chris and Emily Dewey, and they put jars out in the local bar and grills and sent out e-mails to friends and family and raised $620 for them.

The three of them got on their motorcycles on July 6 and rode out to Denver and delivered the money in person and were able to spend some time with Chris.

The total miles on the bikes were 2,600 miles in six days
