Two west central Minnesota projects that were scheduled to begin May 2 will be delayed due to spring road restrictions, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The Highway 10 resurfacing project on the eastbound lanes between Hawley and Detroit Lakes has been rescheduled to begin May 11. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane in areas where crews are working. The project is scheduled to be completed in mid-June, weather permitting.

The Highway 9 resurfacing project south of Morris also will be delayed. An updated construction schedule has not been determined, but the project will begin sometime after May 11.

The Interstate 94 resurfacing project on the westbound lanes between Barnesville and Downer remains on schedule to begin May 2. The I-94 project is scheduled to be completed in early July, weather permitting.
