A search team is being organized in Roseau County for the rural Detroit Lakes man who has been missing since Aug. 11.

The Roseau County Sheriff's Department says there has been no sign of Donny Dugger, 43, whose vehicle was found near the Winner Silo in the Beltrami State Forest on Aug. 11.

According to KDLM Radio, anyone wishing to volunteer on a search team for Dugger is asked to meet at Riverside Bait and Tackle convenience store in Warroad Thursday morning.

The search crew will begin at 8:30 a.m. Thursday and work will continue through Sunday.

Dugger apparently left his vehicle after it became stuck about a mile northeast of the Winner Silo in Beltrami State Forest.

Dugger, who was said to be suffering from depression, apparently left his vehicle and walked south out to the Winner Forest Road near the Elkwood Cemetery.

Becker County Sheriff's Captain Kelly Shannon said local officials checked Dugger's home In Holmesville Township.

"There was no evidence that he's been there at all -- nothing," he said.

Roseau County Sheriff Steve Gust asks anyone who may have given a ride to Dugger or who has any other information to call 218-463-1421.

A trust fund to help with expenses for the search and recovery of Donny Dugger has been set up at Bremer Bank in Detroit Lakes.
