Sanford offers One Chart

Sanford Health Detroit Lakes Clinic Same Day Surgery Center will introduce a new electronic health record service, Sanford One Chart, to its patients beginning Thursday, April 4.

One Chart offers many advantages — the most important is that patients can visit any Sanford clinic or medical center across the Sanford system, and their medical information will be available for the medical professionals who are caring for them.

No need to have records faxed, photocopied or hand-transferred.

Patients will notice some other changes Billing statements will look different. They will be asked to validate their contact information and insurance coverage at your next visit.

Please bring your insurance cards with you. We will take your photo to add to your new online record. This can be done quickly and easily with the computer in the exam room.

“This going to require a little extra time up front for the patient but I’m very proud to offer this service  because I know how much it will enhance the care I provide for them,” stated Jon Larson, M.D. “This service ensures our patient’s information is securely available anywhere in the Sanford health network.”

One Chart is part of Sanford Health’s electronic health record information system.  When fully implemented across the entire Sanford Health system, patients will have one clinical record available to every Sanford Health facility. Sanford’s total investment in this project across our network will be approximately $100 million.
