Perham museums to host Turtle Fest events

PERHAM — The Friends of the History Museum will host a Turtle Fest Family Garden Party and Artifact Hunt at the History Museum of East Otter Tail County on Wednesday, June 19 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Your child can be a historian as they search for artifacts in the museum.

Play a lawn game or join in a family tree coloring activity and learn about the importance of history!

Refreshments will be served, and all activities will be offered free of charge.  The History Museum is located at 230 First Avenue North in Perham.

The Friends of the History Museum will also host a Turtle Fest Vendor Show at the In Their Own Words (ITOW) Veterans Museum in Perham on Saturday, June 15 from  10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The ITOW Veterans Museum is located at 805 West Main.

Drawings will be held throughout the day. All proceeds go to support ITOW and veterans.
