UPDATED: Three hospitalized after Hwy. 10 crash

A 27-year-old from Mahnomen was seriously injured Tuesday morning when the van she was driving collided with a semi in Otter Tail County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol:

The incident happened about 9 a.m. at the intersection of Highways 10 and 228 near Vergas.

Gina Bower was northbound on Highway 10 in a van when the semi, which was eastbound on Highway 228, crossed Highway 10 in front of Bower and Bower’s van struck the trailer the semi was pulling.

Bower was airlifted to Sanford Health in Fargo with serious injuries.

The driver of the semi, Todd Iverson, 47, of Wahpeton, N.D., was not injured.

Two passengers in the van, Havanna Bower, 2, and Catalina Bower, age not available, both of Mahnomen, suffered injuries that were not life-threatening, the State Patrol report said.
