Rothsay man seriously hurt in motorcycle crash
A Rothsay man was seriously hurt when he was thrown from his motorcycle on Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls on Tuesday night.
Jeremy Jay Johnson, 38, of Rothsay suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, according to the State Patrol.
He was eastbound on I-94 on a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control and left the roadway. Johnson was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was a factor in the crash, the State Patrol said.
The crash was reported at 11:24 p.m. on dry pavement at milepost 52 in Fergus Falls Township, Otter Tail County.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, Fergus Falls Police Department, and Ringdahl Ambulance assisted at the scene.
