DETROIT LAKES - The following items were taken from reports at the Becker County Sheriff's Department and Detroit Lakes Police Department.

Wednesday, April 2

• At 1:31 p.m. an Audubon resident reported crowbar pry marks on his garage door. He was not sure if entry had been gained.

Thursday, April 3

• At 7:57 a.m. items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Elizabeth in Detroit Lakes. Taken were a compact disc player and about $5 in change.

• At 7:59 a.m. one person reported a shoulder injury following an automobile accident on Whiskey Creek Drive.

• At 2:21 p.m. a Lake Park man reported the theft of an older aluminum 15-foot canoe from where it was stored in a wooded area near a lake.

• At 3:23 p.m. a Fargo man reported a garage door was kicked in on property he owns on the 15000 block of County Road 11. He is making a list of missing items.

• At 7:44 p.m. a street light was reported vandalized in Pine Point.

• At 7:45 p.m. a car fire was reported on the 37000 block of Highway 87 in Silver Leaf Township. Frazee firefighters handled the call.

Friday, April 4

• At 7:21 a.m. a woman reported things stolen from her residence on the 36000 block of Loon Drive.

• At 3:16 p.m. the Lake Park water tower was reported vandalized.

• At 3:30 p.m. a grass fire was reported out of control on the 31000 block of Valley View Road, rural Frazee. Firefighters with the DNR were on the scene for several hours.

• At 4:47 p.m. a small grass fire that spread from burning garbage was reported near White Earth. It was quickly put out.

• At 7:27 p.m. a Frazee man reported he had been assaulted.

Saturday, April 5

• At 1:43 a.m. a domestic assault was reported on the 18000 block of County Road 25.

• At 10:45 a.m. Lakes Country Towing reported someone entered its property and broke some windows.

• At 9:32 p.m. a domestic assault with mutual slaps was reported on the 1200 block of Summit Avenue.

Sunday, April 6

• Becker County reported a total of nine vehicles in the ditch because of the winter storm.

• At 1:43 a.m. a 21-year-old man was arrested for third-degree DWI after police received a report of him fighting at the Holiday Inn.

• At 8:01 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported a tire came off his truck on South Washington Avenue. The 28-year-old man believes someone may have tampered with the lug nuts on his wheel, since a side mirror was ajar Friday evening.

Monday, April 7

• At 5:52 p.m. a large "phallic-shaped" snow monument on the 200 block of East Grant Street was removed by its creators upon the request of a police officer responding to complaints.
