The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department:

Wednesday, July 8

• At 1:11 a.m. a 32-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after knocking on a door on the 200 block of 11th Avenue.

• At 11:39 a.m. the theft of items was reported from a vehicle parking behind Zorbaz. Taken were an iPod, checkbook and car charger.

Thursday, July 9

• Early Thursday morning, Detroit Lakes officers searched for three men, apprehending and questioning one in a backyard around 4 a.m. on the 1200 block of Lake Avenue.

• At 2:57 p.m. a farmer on the 28000 block of Highway 34 reported a break-in to a feed building overnight. A cash register and cash were taken.

• At 10:04 p.m. a BMX accident was reported in Lake Park.

Friday, July 10

• At 1:26 p.m. a woman asked Detroit Lakes police to check on a man with a sign that read "Down and Out = Help." The 53-year-old man had a duffel bag full of food and initially told police he was looking for a ride to Medora, N.D.

Then a car pulled up and the man told police the driver was his nephew. Police advised them to be on their way.

• At 4:51 p.m. the Detroit Lakes Boys and Girls Club reported problems with a juvenile stealing things.

Saturday, July 11

• At 5:15 a.m. police received a report of someone in City Park. A 42-year-old man had been sleeping in the park, and told police he was waiting for a Social Security check before moving on to Montana. He was advised the park was closed for the night.

• At 7:54 a.m. a burglary was reported at Jeff's Food Center in Lake Park. Entry was gained through the back door. A chain was cut on the safe and a cash register drawer stolen.

Monday, July 13

n At 8:28 a.m. artist Hans Gilsdorf informed police he would be making minor repairs to the sailboat sculpture on the DL beach.

n At 5:04 p.m. three sets of golf clubs were reported stolen from a garage on the 900 block of North Shore Drive.

n At 9:06 p.m. an electrical fire was reported on the 400 block of Lake Avenue at the Paul Hunnel residence.

Wednesday, July 15

n At 6:11 a.m. a Lake Park man reported an attempted break-in to a 1993 GMC Safari in Lake Park.

• At 8:24 p.m. a Ponsford woman reported the theft of jewelry, including a wedding ring, and a laptop computer.

• At 8:40 p.m. a grassfire was reported on 260th Avenue in Lakeview Township. The Detroit Lakes Fire Department was on the scene for 9 minutes.

• At 4:28 p.m. an Osage man reported the theft of a Combo Master Force sliding compound saw from a utility trailer in Osage.

Thursday, July 16

• At 9:24 p.m. an 11-year-old boy was injured at Many Point Scout Camp, suffering possible spinal injuries and neck and back pain.
