The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

• At 6:41 a.m. an assault was reported at WE Fest.

• At 11:07 a.m. a Wadena woman reported a sexual assault at Hilltop Campground at WE Fest.

• At 12:13 p.m. some young people reported seeing a bear at the powwow grounds at Pine Point.

• At 3:16 p.m. an accident with possible injuries was reported on Highway 59 near Select Auto.

• At 7:57 p.m. an Audubon man reported problems with a crop-spraying plane. He said chemicals had caused damage to trees and vegetation in the area and appeared to damage part of a corn crop. He was also concerned about a wildlife refuge in the area. The Minnesota DNR and pollution control agency were notified.

• At 9:49 p.m. an Audubon police squad car was struck by another vehicle at a busy Detroit Lakes intersection while responding to a call.

The police vehicle, driven by Eric Hegna, was responding with lights and sirens to a call when hit was struck by a pickup driven by Diane Bellefeuille, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Bellefeuille, 50, of Detroit Lakes was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado south on Highway 59. Her vision was obstructed by a semi stopped in a turn lane when she entered the intersection with Highway 10 and broadsided the squad car, which was traveling westbound, the State Patrol said.

Hegna, 41, of Audubon suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Sean Mork, 29, of Lake Park was a passenger in the 2007 Ford Explorer driven by Hegna. Mork was treated for his injuries and released.

Bellefeuille did not suffer any apparent injuries, the State Patrol said.

Thursday, Aug. 6

• At 9:57 a.m. Spaceman Storage on Highway 34 east of Detroit Lakes reported the theft of a U-Haul rental truck.

• At 4:43 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man suffered minor injuries when his car was rear-ended by a school bus serving as a WE Fest shuttle bus on Highway 10. The car overturned into the median.

Ernest F. Olson, 90, of Detroit Lakes was driving a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Highway 10 east of Detroit Lakes. He was traveling slower than the posted speed limit, and the driver of the 2009 International school bus, which was moving at the speed limit, hit the car from behind.

The bus was driven by Norman W, Beckman, 69, of Detroit Lakes, who suffered no apparent injuries in the crash. The bus was being used to shuttle fans to WE Fest, but was not carrying passengers at the time of the crash.

• At 7:59 p.m. a Detroit Lakes woman reported a camera was stolen from a residence on the 41000 block of County Road 56.

• At 6:05 p.m. a Detroit Lakes man reported a helicopter flying very low over town. It turned out to be an Audubon-based business that was giving helicopter rides in Detroit Lakes. The owner had agreed earlier that day to change the flight pattern.

• At 9:42 p.m. WE Fest emergency medical workers reported an 18-year-old woman was unresponsive, but breathing.

• At 10:21 p.m. criminal sexual conduct was reported at Eagle Campgrounds at WE Fest.

Friday, Aug. 7

• At 1:01 a.m. a fight was reported at the Northside bar.

• At 1:02 a.m. a St. Paul woman camping in Oatfield campground at WE Fest said a man in a neighboring tent threatened her with a knife.

• At 1:29 a.m. a security guard reported being assaulted in the VIP area at WE Fest.

• At 1:33 a.m. an assault was reported in the Viking Campground at WE Fest.

• At 2:08 a.m. a fight with injuries was reported at the Sandbar.

• At 6:04 a.m. a Hibbing woman camping in the Northwoods campground at WE fest reported a man was "freaking out" and jumping on tents.
