Grand Forks woman cited in chain-reaction crash
GRAND FORKS -- A Grand Forks woman was cited for failure to use care required after a motor-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Grand Forks, police said.
Casey Loesch, 20, was driving south in the 400 block of Belmont Road when her 1999 Oldsmobile struck a parked 1998 Buick Park Avenue, which was pushed into a parked 1995 Pontiac Bonneville. Both airbags deployed on Loesch's vehicle, and she was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Police also cited Loesch for minor in possession of alcohol, saying she had alcoholic beverages in her vehicle but had not been consuming any.
