Crimes and accidents

The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Department.

Tuesday, Jan. 26

• At 12:09 p.m., a minor accident involving two vehicles was reported on Pearl Lake Drive near Detroit Lakes.

• At 12:18 p.m., a 50-year-old Detroit Lakes male reported that several fish houses were broken into on Little Detroit Lake.

• At 12:22 p.m., a Detroit Lakes female living on the 300 block of Park Street reported that approximately 40 prescription pain pills were missing.

• At 3:11 p.m., a 40-year-old White Earth Township female reported a small tractor fire on the 41000 block of County Road 34.

Wednesday, Jan. 27

• At 12:07 p.m., an 18-year-old male was cited for shoplifting at Central Market.

• At 5:19 p.m., an ambulance was requested at Walmart after a female passed out from reportedly huffing a chemical substance.

• At 11:08 p.m., a 50-year-old Pine Point female reported the theft of $800 from her wallet from her residence on the 48000 block of Old Ball Park Road.

Thursday, Jan. 28

• At 8:27 a.m., three vehicles were involved in an accident at the Highway 10 and McKinley Street intersection. No injuries were reported.

• At 1:10 p.m., two vehicles were involved in a minor accident at the Lube Express at Walmart.

• At 3:17 p.m., a minor two-vehicle accident was reported at Jackson Avenue in Detroit Lakes.

• At 3:27 p.m., a Lakeview Township female reported that an employee forged 39 checks from a business located on the 11000 block of Fern Beach Blvd. A computer was also missing.

• At 4:03 p.m., a male reported the theft of a underwater camera from a fish house on Lake Maud.

• At 5:51 p.m., a vehicle rolled into a ditch on Highway 10 near K-mart. No injuries were reported.

• At 6:41 p.m., someone reported a minor hit and run accident at the Boys and Girls Club parking lot in Detroit Lakes. No injuries were reported.

Friday, Jan. 29

• At 7:45 a.m., a 71-year-old Ogema woman was involved in a one-vehicle accident on County Road 158. No injuries were reported.

• At 10:33 a.m., a 60-year-old Frazee male reported a car fire on the 800 block of Second Street Southeast.
