Structure fire north of Frazee
The following items were taken from reports at the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Becker County Sheriff's Office:
Monday, Dec. 24
At 11:19 a.m. the theft of a portable fish house was reported. There is a suspect in the case.
At 11:39 a.m. the theft of items was reported from a vehicle parked on the 500 block of Shorewood Drive.
Tuesday, Dec. 25
At 2:37 p.m. vandalism to a vehicle and plow was reported. There is a suspect in the case.
At 3:12 p.m. a break-in was reported on the 35000 block of Highway 87, with unknown items missing.
Wednesday, Dec. 26
At 1:01 a.m. an arson fire was reported on the 56000 block of 170th St. in Green Valley Township. Wolf Lake firefighters responded to the call.
At 9:40 a.m. a counterfeit $20 bill was reported in a McDonald's restaurant deposit.
At 10:29 a.m. an accident with possible injuries was reported on Highway 10 east of Lake Park. The State Patrol handled it.
At 1:46 p.m. a counterfeit $20 bill was reported in a city of Detroit Lakes deposit.
At 5:11 p.m. the theft of a safe was reported on the 200 block of Washington Avenue.
At 5:31 p.m. a theft from a vehicle was reported at Hunan Springs Buffet.
At 11:56 p.m. a burglary was reported at the Elbow Lake Store.
Thursday, Dec. 27
At 2:57 a.m. a burglary was reported on the 40000 block of Scent of Pine Shore in North Round Lake Township.
Friday, Dec. 28
At 1:15 p.m. a domestic between a father and son was reported on the 100 block of East Willow Street.
Saturday, Dec. 29
At 12:08 p.m. a "rolling domestic" was reported between parties in a red vehicle on Highway 34 West.
At 1:28 p.m. a domestic between a parent and son was reported on the 13000 block of Pearl Lake Drive.
At 1:47 p.m. a theft from a motor vehicle was reported. A bag was taken from the back of a truck from either Holy Rosary Church or the Holiday Inn during the early evening hours of Dec. 28.
At 2 p.m. a burglary was reported on the 600 block of Holmes Street West.
At 3:41 p.m. a case of possible sexual misconduct was reported on the 21000 block of County Road 6.
At 5:27 p.m. a large brush fire was reported in the Highway 34-Brill Avenue area. Firefighters from Carsonville and Park Rapids were on the scene for about 20 minutes.
At 11:02 p.m. a weapons call was received on the 11000 block of Eagle Lake Road, after an intoxicated brother fired a shotgun in a bedroom and his sister took the gun away from him.
Sunday, Dec. 30
At 12:12 p.m. the theft of a purse was reported at the Holiday Inn bar the previous night.
At 12:40 a.m. the Park Rapids hospital reported treating a Becker County boy for a BB gun wound.
At 1:25 a.m. a structure fire was reported on the 11000 block of County Road 29 north of Frazee. The fire involved a 20-foot by 40-foot shed and firefighters from Frazee and Detroit Lakes were on the scene for about 80 minutes.
At 9:19 a.m. an Audubon Township resident reported a break-in and the theft of cash, a diamond ring and prescription medication from a residence on the 22000 block of 175th Avenue.
At 9:44 a.m. a burglary was reported at a residence on the 39000 block of 175th Avenue in South Height of Land Township. Someone tried to use a Wells Fargo debit card taken from the residence at Walmart that morning.
At 11:05 a.m. a business on the 15000 block of Highway 59 South reported that one of the owners had changed all the locks, in an apparent civil dispute.
At 2:13 p.m. the theft two weeks ago of a gas ice auger was reported on the 17000 block of 350th Avenue in South Height of Land Township.
At 4:16 p.m. a cabin burglary was reported on the 15000 block of East Munson Drive. Entry was gained through a window, and several bottles of liquor were stolen.
Monday, Dec. 31
At 11:52 a.m. two fish house break-ins were reported on Brandy Lake. A decoy, a radio and other items were taken.
At 11:58 a.m. a fish house burglary was reported on Long Lake near Detroit Lakes. Taken were an ice auger, seven fishing rods, two tackle boxes with fishing gear and a tool box with hand tools.
