Charge dropped for woman caught with baggies of ecstasy
Michelle Danielle Faifer, 21, of Labadie, Missouri, has had a felony drug crime dismissed in Becker County District Court after meeting all conditions for dismissal set down by the court.
According to court records, the white Chevy Cavalier she was driving was pulled over by a trooper near Detroit Lakes on Aug. 7, 2015, during the WE Fest country music festival.
The car was pulled over for having a large spider-webbed crack in the windshield. A K-9 search was done and marijuana was found, along with three plastic baggies of a brown powder-like substance that turned out to be the drug ecstasy.
To meet the conditions of the court, Faifer served 30 days in jail, paid a $1,000 fine and $1,000 in court fees, and got a chemical dependency evaluation and followed the recommendations. The charge was dismissed Aug. 15.
