Detroit Lakes man sentenced to probation for card fraud
DETROIT LAKES - A Detroit Lakes man was sentenced to up to 10 years' supervised probation last week on a felony charge of financial transaction card fraud.
Gregory Charles Bachmann, 21, of 1255 Brook Ridge Lane, pled guilty to the charge on Dec. 12, 2007. He was accused of using a company credit card issued to a former employer to make purchases totaling more than $2,500 at three Becker County gas stations between Dec. 9, 2006 and July 15, 2007.
As conditions of his probation, Bachmann must serve 60 days in the Becker County Jail, pay $587 in court fines and fees, and make $3,402 in restitution.
