Moorhead man arrested after low-speed chase
MOORHEAD - Police used a Taser to subdue a 33-year-old driver who allegedly led an officer on a low-speed chase and brief foot pursuit overnight in south Moorhead.
The officer tried to stop the vehicle in the 1600 block of 11th Street South but the suspect refused to yield, Sgt. Robert Matheson stated in a news release.
The suspect eventually parked the vehicle near 24th Avenue South and ran but was apprehended in an adjacent yard, the release stated.
Justin James Carr of Moorhead was arrested at about 1:17 a.m. on suspicion of felony fleeing in a motor vehicle, misdemeanor fleeing on foot and DWI. He was taken to the Clay County Jail.
