Battle Lake man arrested after truck ends up in slough

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – A Battle Lake man is facing drunken-driving charges after authorities received word he was sitting in his partially submerged pickup in a ditch south of town.

Brady Muchow , 19, was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving after revocation and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Axness said the sheriff’s office received a report at 2:17 Sunday morning of an adult male slumped over in a partially submerged vehicle in a slough south of Fergus Falls. When the sheriff’s department and the Fergus Falls Fire Department arrived at the scene, they found the man had been removed from his vehicle and was sitting in an associate’s vehicle. Muchow was placed under arrest.
