County investigating cars vandalized in impound lot
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the vandalism of 10 vehicles parked in the county’s impound lot.
The incident happened sometime in the past week, but the call came in Wednesday morning around 9:45 a.m.
Becker County Investigator John Sieling says somebody cut the fence to the lot and smashed in windows of the vehicles.
They are all vehicles that have been seized and either forfeited to the county or are in the process of being forfeited. They are then usually sold at public auction.
